Freshly Brewed Challenges _ CUTE!!!

Woop Woop!
This week we want to see ALL THINGS CUTE!
Bring on the adorableness - we are ready!

I chose to create with this little bundle of cuteness....

OK... soooooo doesn't this just make you smile?!?
We have had SO MUCH RAIN!
I mean, I think the saying APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS
was written just for this very moment in time.
We are most certainly going to have an abundance of flowers come May ;)

I kept this bright, fresh, and fun!
All of these papers were found in my scrap pile. Even the teal blue.
I know that the purple is PTI and the textured teal is by American Craft.
The multi colored dot paper is also by AC, but I am not sure of the name.
Scrap pile.... you know how that is.

One last peek. The colored water is very sparkly IRL.
I used some regular ol glue, painted it on and sprinkled on some
Martha Stewart loose crystal microfine glitter.

I hope to see you playing along with us at our CUTE challenge

Have a VERY CREATIVE and BLESSED Day!

Word Art Wednesday - Psalm 1:3

Good morning!
I am glad to be here sharing more of God's love with you
and a new Word Art Wednesday Challenge!

This week we are in the book of Psalm.
I remember as a young child on the way to school my dad would have
my brother and sister and I take turns reading a Psalm. It makes me
smile to think back on it. I think that is why the book of Psalm is one of my
favorites. Many of the chapters are about praising and worshiping God.
What's not to love about it. Such joy and encouragement can be found in these verses.

This weeks scripture is Psalm 1:3

I went shopping at SWEET AND SASSY STAMPS to find the perfect little digi to
go with this sentiment. They have so many sweet ones, it was hard to choose!

I ended up purchasing this one called ONE OF A KIND

Aren't these little birdies just too sweet?!?
I used an xacto knife to cut out some of the leaves and pop them out away from
the image. My little boy watched me while I cut it. He was beside me working on division problems.
I was a total distraction. (the joys of homeschooling)
I let him watch and then curled the leaves out. He was amazed.
He said WOW MAMA! YOU ARE SO GOOD! lol
So sweet... But of course I know better ;)
The blade was too dull to cut through neatly, but I still like a distressed look,
so I wasn't totally disappointed with the outcome.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you will join us this week at

Freshly Brewed Challenge - BIRTHDAYS

Happy Wednesday!
It's time for another fun Freshly Brewed Challenge.
We want to see BIRTHDAY creations this week.
(today is my birthday after all! ;)

Here is a card I created using the digi

I know it is still pretty CAS, but I am still proud that
I used a piece of HOARDED papers AND actually got out fun trims
for this card. :) hehehe

and can I tell you how much I enjoyed coloring these lil sweeties up?
They look like they are doing a birthday dance across the card!

Here is a little tilted / wonky side view close up.
Now that is a way to describe it ;) hehehe!

I used  prismacolor markers AND copic markers to color in this image.
I also added little highlights using a white gel pen.

Hope to see you come over and celebrate BIRTHDAYS with us at Freshly Brewed Challenges!

Have a happy and blessed day!

Word Art Wednesday Challenge 179

This weeks word art scripture reminds us that if we seek after the Lord,
He will be there with us. Truth is, He will never leave us. Sometimes
we feel we are alone or we can't feel his presence.
We have to continually seek Him, call upon His name, pray, praise,
build a relationship with Him and get to know Him by reading His word.

He loves us SO much and this scripture spoke joy to my heart.
I hope it does yours as well!

I purchased this little Fred She Said image to use for this weeks
card. They are our sponsor after all ;)

Isn't she just darling!
Hands lifted high in praise! (well, that is what I am seeing for this card anyway)

I colored her using a few shades of yellow prismacolor markers.
The skin and browns are copic markers.

I freehand drew a cloud around the sentiment and cut it out. I also
used a lid to draw and cut out the sunshine.

All papers are from my 'stash'
I know the pink patterned paper is from the K&Company Berry Sweet mat stack

I hope you will stop by and play along with us at WORD ART WEDNESDAY this week!
Have a happy and blessed day!

Word Art Wednesday - Psalm 126:3

The Lord hath done great things for us;
whereof we are glad.
Psalm 126:3

I am so happy to be here to share our Word Art Wednesday Challenge # 178 with you.
I am so glad she chose this verse for this weeks challenge.
God has been so good to us! He does GREAT things daily,
if only we will open our eyes to see them.
He is waiting for us to reach out to him, to call upon him, to talk to him....
He wants to show us how much he loves us and to prove himself strong in our lives...
we just have to open up our lives TO him first.

The past weeks have been sort of like a roller coaster ride.
I won't go into detail, but I have been PRAYING and BELIEVING God for
a healing over someone who is one of the most important people in my life.
My husband has been over stressed about work.
And there are a  few other things going on...
The devil loves to attack and attack HARD when he does.
But when we stand up and TRUST God and know that he
has and will do great things for ((us))... for our loved ones...
we just get to stand back and watch him work and move and Praise and Thank him for it.

**materials: Scrap papers... of course
martha stewart twine
color box fluid chalk inkpad in rouge
sizzex stamp and die bicycle
rhinestones and button from stash

I have to apologize to my WAW team for getting this card in so late.
I will not make excuses. It is late regardless.... and I am truly sorry.
I can't think of a better team to be a part of than the WAW team and consider myself
so blessed to be able to work with such an amazing group of God fearing women.

I do hope you all have a wonderfully blessed week.
Thank you for stopping by and visiting with me.

Hot Stuff - Freshly Brewed Challenge

It's time for another FRESHLY BREWED CHALLENGE!

This week is a super fun one (for me anyway... ;)
The theme is FRESH BREWED!!!
(use any coffee or tea theme on your project)

I chose to work with one of our NEWEST digital stamps:

Sentiment from the FBD rubber stamp set SHE LOVES LATTES

This card was COMPLETELY created using SCRAPS!!!
YAAASSSS!!! *as my daughter says*
AND I used colors I don't normally go to (meaning there isn't
any pink or really girly colors in there .... I mean... SHOCKER for realz)

This little latte loving cupcake makes me happy. I hate to think what would happen
if we met IRL though. I don't think it would be pretty considering how much I LOVE
coffee and cupcakes ... especially together. MMMMM ;) (sorry Lil Sweetie- don't be scared...)

If you like this digi, be sure to stop by and check out ALL of the NEW Fresh Brewed Digis

a SWEET digi release at Fresh Brewed Designs

Could today be any sweeter?
My cupcake craving is at a new high!
**prepare yourself for some ultimate drool action**
*and maybe a few Awww's*

Here is the card I created for our NEW DIGI RELEASE

I paired these sweet friends with a sentiment from the
SKINNY MINNIE is SWEET rubber stamp set

The image was colored using copic and prismacolor markers.
I added little clear dew drops to the sentiment tag and little flat white sequins
scattered throughout. The background and muli colored dot papers are from the
American Craft Craft Fair pack and the other dotty paper is from the
My Minds Eye Bright Dots paper stack.

One more peek at these little friends....

I had so much fun designing these digis and hope they are able to
take care of your (creative) sweet tooth as well!
