And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV
Jesus is our soon coming King
James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."

Freshly Brewed Challenge - TO THE MOVIES

Good Morning.
Our new Freshly Brewed Challenge is a MOVIE THEME this week.
I tried to think of one of my favorite movies to theme my card after...
so many came to mind... but they were all based on deep, long lasting friendships.
I decided to go with one of my all time favorites: BEACHES

This image is very special to me.
This image is from a set of digis I created as a fundraiser for my mom.
She found out approx. two weeks ago that she has a rare form of uterine cancer.
We, along with many of you,  have been trusting God and praying
and he IS working! She had a CT scan last week that showed the cancer to be
contained in her uterus. Praise God!!! Now we are leaving tomorrow to meet with her
doctor and schedule her surgery.

This image is part of a set of images that is for sale for $3 in the Fresh Brewed Designs Shop.

She doesn't know I am doing this, but I was feeling helpless and wanted to do something.
I am hoping to help relieve some of the stress of the medical expenses she will have and allow
her to focus on getting better. I have set up a GIVEFORWARD fundraiser >>HERE<<
All funds from the sale will be given to my mom to help pay for anything she needs
during this time. I know that many of us do not have money to give. Believe me. I understand.
But if you believe in the healing power of prayer, then please pray.
God is in control. He is working and he does hear our prayers!

My design team wanted to do something to help and will  be hosting a blog hop in a few weeks to
spread the word. If you would like to be a part of the hop, visit our facebook page here and

Thank you all in advance for your prayers and for your support.

Take Time For Yourself

I don't know about you, but that is one of the hardest things for me to do.
I don't enjoy spending money or time on 'me'. It makes me feel guilty, lol!
But we do need to take time out for ourselves.
It doesn't make us selfish if we do it with the right attitude at heart.
I think we all need moments throughout the day to escape,
collect our thoughts, relax a bit, and just unwind.
OR to get away from the bickering and loudness of the house by hiding in the
shower with the curtain closed and all the lights off.
The kids will not be able to find you for a little while at least ;) HAHAHA!
I am kidding... maybe

This card is all about being pampered and taking time
out for yourself. It features one of my NEW Fresh Brewed Designs
Digital Stamps: HAIR SALON
>>I'm not that with the names of my digis sometimes,
I admit, but we will have to just go with it ;)<<

I used papers from the 6x6 paper pad: Embellish by Dena: Little Azalea
The image was colored using prismacolor markers in ballet pink, blush pink, pink, orange,
salmon pink, grey 60, and avacado. The skin was colored using copic markers.
I added some mod podge dimensional glaze to the chair, book, lips, and shoes. The book also
has a splash of green stickles.

Today is the LAST day to comment on our new digi release post for a chance to win a free digi
from the release. Don't wait, Comment HERE!

Thank you for stopping by!
Have a beautiful and blessed day.

You're Out of This World! FBD Challenge

Hi  Everyone

Its time for another Freshly Brewed Challenge!

For this card, I used the FBD Digital Stamp
ALL of the papers were once again dug out of my huge scrap pile / box that is conveniently
placed on the shelf just under my computer where I am currently typing. I figured if I didn't
put it somewhere that I would see it, it would only grow into a huge monster that I would not
be able to control. I did just give away like 100 lbs (exaggerating a bit) of paper to some sweet
little ladies my daughter takes dance with. They are a lot younger than her, but I get to
meet and love them all while I sit there and wait for her to finish her classes :)

The image was colored using skin copic markers and a mix of prismacolor markers.
I used mod podge dimensional magic on the little eyes and the DUDE sentiment.
The little sequin stars were the last little extra I felt the card needed.

I used the following challenges to create this card:

Word Art Wednesday #187

Good Morning!
It is time for a new WORD ART WEDNESDAY
Anything Goes (family friendly) link up challenge!

Our verse this week is for our dads
I  have to say that I am the most blessed daughter and wife in the world.
My own daddy is just amazing! He has prayed for, guided me, taught me, brought me
to church all of my life, taught me about Jesus and how much he loves me ...
I couldn't ask for a better daddy!
And my husband. Where do I even begin?
He is my bestest friend in the whole wide world. He 'gets' me even when he
probably would rather not. We know what our looks mean. He knows when I
need a hug or to laugh, even when I don't think I do at that moment ;)
He makes me smile and melt... but more than that, as a daddy - he is truly
amazing. He loves those babies. I still remember the look on his face when he first
held them in the hospital. He is sometimes like my third child...
running and hitting and sword fighting through the stores. I need to let them
do it and stop calling them down I guess ;) lol!
His smile is literally from EAR TO EAR when he watches his daughter dance.
She laughs and says he looks creepy... it is THAT BIG. But he is SO PROUD of her.
So, all that being said... I am SO blessed to have such wonderful, God fearing, God loving,
family oriented men in my life. I thank Him every day for it!

Here is my card I created for this weeks WORD ART WEDNESDAY link up:

I had SO much fun making this card!
I created one of these shirt cards WAY BACK A LONG TIME AGO
but had forgotten how to fold it. I found a you tube video tutorial for the origami shirt,
then a tutorial for the tie...
I covered the tie with waterfall stickles.
and voila

My son has been loving making origami guns lately... sigh...
They are rubber band shooting simple little guns... a boy thing I guess.
When he saw me make this shirt he was so excited and wanted to make one.
He made three in fact... all different sizes. Here is a pic of him making and holding one.

He did a good job

Thank you for stopping by and visiting with me today!
I hope your day is happy and blessed.

Happy Tuesday!
I am so excited to be sharing this card with you.
Why you ask?
That's why! ;) hehehe

I had so much fun sketching up these new digis.
They are just so girly and fun!
I hope you love them and enjoy creating with them as well!

First up is our SHOE SALE digital stamp

I have to admit this card was completely created this morning.
I have been out of black in for a few months now.
My husband put the new cartridge in for me last night,
but I couldn't color it until the ink had time to set and dry a bit....
So this card was started around 5:45 am and is now ready for it's big debut :)
(materials are all just random things from my pile o stuff. The large papers that
are no longer with the stacks... the no namers.
I used some silver rhinestones on top of  flower shaped sequins to embellish the card,
then I dug out my little flat white sequins at add just a little more detail. I tend to
just throw them on there randomly. I don't have an eye for those things like some of you
awesome card designers do ;) The image was colored using a mix of prismacolor markers
and copic markers.

I knew I was pressed for time in making this card...
After all, the digi release was to go live at 7 am EST.
I STILL wanted to use the new mod podge glaze and hoped it
would dry in time. (Don't worry... it did ;)
While the glaze was still wet, I sprinkled some clear glass micro beads
onto the awning. I also used a needle to add some little micro beads to her necklace.

Please stop by our CHALLENGE BLOG HERE to see the other
digi released today. (It's called HAIR SALON)
and comment for a chance to win!
*chance to win ends Monday,  June 15 - winner will be announced June 16th*

Have a happy and blessed day!
I used the new sketch #272 found at Sweet Sunday Sketch for this card.
I just LOVE their sketches!!!

Freshly Brewed Challenge - Fun in the Sun!

Hey y'all!
(I live in the south, I can and do say that, lol)
I am so happy to be visiting with you on this RAINY Wednesday morning :)

I am here to share a fun little card I created for our NEW Freshly
Brewed Challenge - FUN IN THE SUN!

Doesn't she look like she's ready for a day in the sun?
I enjoyed coloring her  tie dyed looking bathing suit.
I used copic and prismacolor markers to color this image.

Aren't these papers just the BOMB DOT COM!?!
I loved them when I saw them at our local Tuesday Morning.
I got in the car and opened the package to look at the pretty patterns.....
and I discovered why it was at Tuesday Morning, in plastic, for $2.
It was jacked up, lol.
The bottom of the papers were apparently accidentally glued as well. I couldn't
get them apart without ripping some of the papers... but for $2 I couldn't complain.
They are textured and bright and gorgeous! I LOVE bright colors and bold patterns if
you didn't notice already :) hhehehe!
The paper pack is Embellish by Dena: Little Azalea

I also found a scrap piece of paper I saved for some reason?!?! in my scrap box. It was the
outside of the wave diecut! I almost used it to cut out another wave, but then put the scraps
on the card and loved how you could see the stripes through it. I taped it on and voila!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I hope to see you play along in our
Challenge this week!

We are also having a NEW DIGI RELEASE on Tuesday June 9th.
Be sure to join us for that too. It's gonna be lots of fun!

See y'all later :)
Have a happy and blessed day,

Tuesday Throwdown: Out to Sea
Tip Top Tuesday - Hair coloring
(my tip - I used part of a  card base to create
a banner for another card. The base no longer made an A2 size card, so
rather than discard it or cut it up, I chose to make a tent topper style card.

Word Art Wednesday Challenge 185 - THE POWER OF GOD

Good Morning.
It's time for a new Word Art Wednesday Challenge!
I especially love stopping by this challenge blog every Wednesday morning.
I love reading the devotion / teaching they have posted and how it
goes along with the weeks scripture to help us better understand and learn from
God's holy word. I feel like it is a happy, wonderful, love filled family over there and
am SO BLESSED to be a part of it! God is so good to me and He knows what we need
EVERY DAY! This scripture speaks to my heart and I know it will yours.
In this day and time, with the world, especially America, seeming to be doing all kinds
of flip flopping and following the world rather than God, it is just down right scary at times.
We NEED God's word and sword more than ever.
We need to know truth and the only way to do that is to listen to HIM and not to MEN.
Back up what friends, people, teachers, pastors say in the Bible. Make sure what you are learning
AND in turn sharing are from God's word, and not man's thoughts.

This week's scripture verse is 1 Corinthians 2:5

I used the sketch at FUSION CARD CHALLENGE as my inspiration for this card.
I am still out of black ink. sigh. So I did print the FREE word art file in color again this week.

Please stop by to get this FREE word art file and play along in our challenge >>HERE<<
Remember, WAW Challenges are ANYTHING GOES as long as it's FAMILY FRIENDLY!
So you don't have an excuse not to play along :)

Have a very happy and blessed day!
