I Promise not to get sentimental on you ... yet :)! I got started on my sons birthday invitations today. A little late to start, but I only have 5 to make so its not a big deal. I think they turned out cute. I got the images from a friend on Cafe Mom. She was so generous to offer and send them to me. I am really happy with them and I know Tommy Ray will love them too :). He had a pirate party last year also :), lol. I know the images are from a SU set. Ahoy Mateys ?? I think. The paper is bazzil. I used my sharpie markers to color him in and my watercolor pens to draw the map. Then I crinkled, smoothed, inked and burned it to give it a 'real' look. Did not make the house smell happy, but it was fun:). I am sharing a pic of last years bday in our old small kitchen:) Enjoy and have a blessed day.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28
truth
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV
