I added another pic of the others I made. I think the other is too cheery, but she can use it for something. thats why I didn't put the sent on it directly. I like the ones bordered in black better. I think they are ok for get well cards. There are all kinds of those: funny, pretty, etc. I hope you like the newer ones better:)
OK, I just finished a card to go with the others I made for my MIL. This one is iffy to me. I like the way it looks .... kindof. She asked for some get well and thinking of you cards. I am all about the happy cards, but these are hard for me. I guess it is a little 'cheery' but is that ok too? Let me know what you think. The stamp is from SU Sassy Stems and I used the paisley & swiss dots cuttlebug folders, watercolored the image. Let me know what you think and advice is welcome!! Thank you.
My son is showing more of an interest in learning. He always has but is writing more and learning his letters more than ever. He is actually excited about it and will sit at the table with it for a fairly good period of time. Very promising and gives me a little hope for this year of homeschooling:). This book was Hannahs first. They both love Scooby Doo. VERY MUCH!!! He was messing around with it and has no idea what he was doing, but I was super shocked!!! he wrote the words in the book ( backwards, but that is how Hannah started also. ) Just the fact that he can look at it and copy it was amazing to me. He just went from scribbles to making smileys, squares, coloring in the lines in his books, and now this! I am so proud of him. :)
The card is very pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteI am so darn impressed with his writing skills! I need to get to working with Landon. :( He is already behind.
I think it is lovely! I really like how you combined the embossing folders! I may have to CASE that idea! Thanks for sharing!
