when Hannah was around 2 1/2 she fell in LOVE with the little mermaid!!! We were renting it over and over again. Finally found it for sale online for $50. As soon as it came in it looked 'fishy'. We found on the back it was by Wart Disney, lol. We sent it back and got a refund, but now I wish we had kept it to just have it. Low and behold after all of the hassle a year or so later it was released and we are the proud owners of 2 copies:). She has outgrown it a little bit. She occasionally asks to watch it or the 2nd one with Ariels daughter, Melody, but I will always remember how much she loved it. A lot of her art still consists of mermaids and things like that. My husband is always checking the news online and called me Friday evening to tell me that the Wiki Wachae ?? mermaids were performing at the Ripleys Aquarium in our city. I was so excited and we planned the trip w/o telling Hannah what was going on. As we pulled up to the aquarium she was so disappointed. "Were just going to the aquarium again!" she said. We go there often because we purchased season passes last year. we thought it would be good to have since we are homeschooling and sometimes would want to get out of the House a while. We came in the ticket area and as soon as we entered, there she was! Hannah was so excited and shy / embarrassed at the same time. It was so cute. The area where they were doing the show was so crowded! Thank goodness we arrived in time to get a good lace to stand so the kids could see it. It was very neat and they enjoyed it very much. My husband is home for the week so that means I will be able to make more cards / creations or less:). I am betting on less, but we will see. I amworking on an altered projest for my sis, gut it is a surprise:). She also make me and the kids some very cute knitted goodies I will share with you tomorrow. Hope you enjoy the pics.
