I had SO much fun making this card!!! My husband still does not get it. He thinks it is odd, but I love it. :) I made this card for the QKD turns 3 challenge. I went to visit my friend Tanis' blog and saw this one there. It looked like a lot of fun and not a sketch .. So I got to be creative:). I had Wilbur from an image swap on cafe mom. I have had him for the longest time, but have never gotten the chance to use him yet. A friend of mine is having a sweet baby boy soon and I though this would be perfect. The point of this challenge was to make it pop and add bling. I popped Wilbur, the balloon, and the carriage. I added glossy accents and glitter to the carriage wheels and blanket as well as Wilbur's balloon. I colored it first with my pencils, but it was still not the effect I was looking for, so I did it again with my watercolor markers. Much better!
Thank you for the challenge. I hope you like the card I made.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28
truth
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV
This is just adorable!!! Thank you for sharing it with us. Have a blessed day!
