Raindrops on Roses

OK, I am being lazy and copied and pasted this from my PCP page. Hope that is ok. Have a great Monday girls:) !!



this card is made for the Cinema Saturday challenge. It is my first time joining the challenge .. so I hope I did it right :). I LOVE the movie they chose for this week. The Sound of Music. The thought of it brings memories and makes me smile. It was a favorite as a child .. right up there with Wizard of Oz and Anne of Green Gables. I have not been able to really watch it for years. While it has wonderful memories to me it also makes me sad. My Papaw died when I was 17? I cant remember how old I was. It was the first time I had ever experienced a death and especially someone I loved so dearly. When I went to the funeral home to see him, my grandma took us in the room where he was. i will never forget a moment of it. They were playing Edelweiss on the intercom. It was just hard to hear it after that. i still cant stand to hear them play taps either. I have to turn movies down when they do it. However, his favorite song for Christmas was Beautiful Star of Bethlehem. Ok, enough sentimental stuff. Sorry.The song I chose for this card is obvious. My favorite things. :) I hope you like the card.

    This sure is gorgeous, Heather. I was the age you were when my grandfather died and i remember how my grandmother feel so lost without him.
