We are usually stuck in the house all memorial day weekend due to the bike rallies that are in town. It gets busy, especially near my house, and leaving (or getting home rather) is nearly impossible! It took me over an hour to go 10 miles one year. i learned my lesson :). Well, we did hit the beach early Saturday morning for the first time of the year. I forgot my sunscreen and blistered my legs and feet. I wore a knee length short sleeved dress the entire time (still self conscious) so at least I did not get blistered everywhere else too:). It does not feel good. The kids had a blast! I was worried that it would irritate Han's skin, but she was fine. I thought I would share a few pics from our day. I hope you enjoy them :)
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28
truth
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV
Looks like it was a beautiful day!

How fun! And how lucky are you, living right by the beach!! I must visit sometime!! So glad Hannah is able to enjoy that without "paying" for it afterwards.
