I know this card is quite bright and not my usual style. I, like a crazy person, made it a challenge on my Cafe Mom group to make a card using an inked, painted, dyed .. coffee filter or cupcake liner as your bg paper or embellishment. My watercolors were pretty on the filter :D grin :D. I was unsure of how to use this until I was looking through my stamps and found my Sophie knitting. My beautiful sister makes us the most gorgeous things .. all the time. She takes time out for me, my kids and makes us neato stuff like hulk feet, a kitty cat purse for Hannah, headbands, even down to themed Easter eggs :). The list goes on and on. She has also been dying her own yarn (you have to check her blog out ... it is in my sidebar:) ) Anywho, I just felt inspired to make this card for her. The flower and Sophie's chair are also made with the leftover filter parts.
This card is also for the Cute Card thursday ~ Stitching.
PS please excuse the horrible pic of me :) that is at midnight Saturday after the fireworks and as soon as the pic was took my battery died. I cropped and tried to make it look not so bad .. just don't look close:)
Pretty card Heather! I have never tried that...uhm something to think about. Your headband is adorable too! Well, I am off to make a pot of coffee before it gets too crazy here in the office and I actually have to do some work! LOL! Have a blessed week.
