Today I want to share this with you for many reasons. I have a few new and old friends who are battling storms in their lives. Storms can come in many shapes and sizes .. but none are too big, small, or unimportant to our God. He loves and cares for us like a Father loves his sweet newborn baby. That love never ends, never fails. He will be there for us through any storm we face and will help us through it. Even when we do not feel him, he is there. Reach out to him, pray, ask him for guidance, peace, healing .. whatever you need... and PRAISE him. Through it all. Praise him. Let him be in control of your storm and trust in him. He WILL bring you through.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28
truth
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

ICS30 ~ It's the only way
This is my card for ICS #30. Our very own talented Olena created this sketch for us to work with. We were also able to work with these ADORABLE digi images that Paper Popsicles is giving as a prize this week. My card just fell together. It may look childish or not well put together, but that is really what I was going for. I was trying to capture the childlike faith we should all have in Christ our savior. The blue bg paper somewhat resembled rain and the yellow and orange the sun. The rainbow is made from a quick sketch, markers and painted on glue sprinkled with Martha Stewart fine glitter. The sent is one I printed from Microsoft word and drew the clouds around. Everything was colored with prismacolor markers, skin copics and a white posterpaint pen. I do hope you all get to participate this week and get the chance to win these adorable little gals. They were a lot of fun to work with:)
Have a blessed day.
