I Love The Way You Love Me

It's a Party at the Dennis household! Daddy is coming home today!!! YAY!!!!!! We have missed him oodles and bunches while he was away this week at a class for work. The kids and I are throwing him a little party with some fun foods and have a movie night planned. He has been more than a little stressed so I do hope this will lift his spirits a little. I know just coming home will a little (or a lot). I colored this image and stole the guitar string envie one night while we were in the craft room/pantry together. I have had this card started for weeks.. just never got around to gluing it together. I also stole an old guitar string he was changing out and used part of it on my card. The image is one of Fresh Brewed Designs: Guitar Girl. The papers have a woodsy feel to them. I used the pocket to hold a wide bookmark.
Well, I have a lot to do including make a mad dash to the grocery store before he starts heading home. Have a beautiful and blessed weekend.

    Heather, what a clever card - you know I'm a fan of Guitar Girl too; she just brings back all the fond memories and for you too - this is really cute. I love the use of the guitar string and making the book mark; very clever! I love the papers and the "Earthy" - it sings of great times! Heehee Glad your hubby is home; know you and the kids are enjoying him back and he's thrilled to be with those who love him. So nice to have a family time together. Those will make fond memories for a scrap book page too I bet. :-)

    wooohooo!! This is one of my all time fave FBD stamps!! Actually, it's the frist FBD stamp I made a card with, so it definitely has a special place in my heart and it always reminds me of you...do you play the guitar? I picture this being you, Heather. :)
    Gorgeous card! That layout with the hidden element is totally FAB and of course I LOVE the sentiment!! I'm singing that verse in my head right now.
