I meant to get this post up yesterday... but school, cooking, cleaning, saving hubby from the bee that attacked him while he was mowing, dance and so on kingof got in my way :( lol. What a full but wonderful (aside from the bee and my terrible headache that is) it has been. Hannah had homework for dance (her hip hop class) and tell them what you notice about hip hop dancers and how to be a better one. Her list said "sharp movements, feel the music, dance to the beat, jam out, be confident" she also drew all around it with graffiti style art... hearts, roses, peace signs and so on. It was so cute and she was afraid / embarrassed to take it in after we got there thinking she would be the only one who drew on their paper. We (my mom and I) told her to be proud of her art and it was good to be different. We got the September newsletter emailed out tonight and her list was scanned and added to the newsletter. I wish you could have seen her smile when I showed her. :)

ReplyDeleteWow, you sure had a full plate - good thing you got that bee away from hubby! Yep, your daughter can always be proud of her art - it's an expression of self and what a great way to stay refreshed! I love this image - talk about getting refreshed; a nice hot soak and a cuppa - yum, yum! Great card! Congratulations to your winner!

ReplyDeleteYipeeeee!!!! I'm so happy I won the hop! Thanks so much for offering your awesome digis as prizes! All of the ladies did such a wonderful job showing off your new designs!
ReplyDeleteHope hubby is OK after the bee attack. I'm allergic to them, so I keep as much distance from them as possible! Congrats to Hannah on being published (besides her first digi anyway)! Tell her to keep up on her art since most of the public schools don't even offer it anymore. Maybe she'll be able to share her talents by teaching others!
Thanks again! Lee
So nice card! :)
