Good Morning!!! So happy to have you stopping by to share part of your day with me :) IT is Wednesday, and you know what that means? YUP! It is time for a new FRESHLY BREWED CHALLENGE! This week we are challenging you to create something cute AND sweet. What could be sweeter than chocolate and coffee and soft pastel colors?
The 3D challenge at Papercraft Planet is being hosted by my sweet friend Adela and is lovingly called a Peek-a-Boo Challenge. She is challenging us to create a box with a hole in it to peek in to. She has also provided a template for you to use if you need it. I will have to go back and create another with that because it is just tooo cute!!! I found this box in the resources section of SCS. It is called a 2-5-7-10 Box.
I layered the patterned paper over the box, glued it down ;), and cut the hole out of the center with my scalloped oval nesties. I accidentally scored the box wrong (oops) but I just added more score lines to the back and flap to make it just cute! No more oops!!! :) hahaha! I then added a paper pieced coffee girl (La Dolce Vita to be exact) Then I added a huge hand full of Dove Dark chocolate to a clear cellophane bag to make it extra sweet. Now all this gift needs is a piping hot cup of coffee!!! :)
