Shimmery Mermaid - MEMORY

I just LOVE shimmer, don't you?

Anything glittery just catches my eye.

While talking to my friend Lori this morning, I was

inspired to get out my already colored image and 

turn it into a card. I haven't had much time to create lately, 

so I was happy she kept me chatting long enough to sit down and finish it.

Yes, I typed and glued and painted and typed... 

but it was worth it. I do really like the end result.

And I don't say that too often.

I have always been fascinated by mermaids as a child. 

Perhaps it was my love for the cartoon

The Little Mermaid

that started my obsession (for lack of better word. I am not really obsessed, lol)

Anyway, I love drawing, coloring and creating mermaids.

They are whimsical, mysterious and fun.

and Copic Markers

Cardstock: PTI Kraft

Designer papers: the girls paperie: paper girl

All that glitters:

mini glitter stars, SU rhinestones, Aleen's paper glaze, creative inspirations

paint: Fairy dust, gold smooch, WOW SC glitter: Chocolate, gold glass micro beads.
