Good Morning!
I am here to share my weekly Word Art Wednesday project with you.
Every Wednesday, WAW has a new word art scripture posted to the blog
for you to download and use for your own projects.
You do not have to use it to play along, but you can save it and use it for any
encouraging or uplifting cards you want to bless someone with.
All of the verses chosen are so beautiful and speak to so many different situations.
And the WAW team is filled with such talented designers!
Every week I am blown away at the creativity shown there.
So many different styles and unique looks to each project.
Blown Away!
Not only are they beautiful but they speak truth. You cant get any better than that!
I was skimming through my papers and found this watercolor piece I created months ago.
It was just there... jelly fish looking and I wasn't sure what to do with it. I almost threw it away.
I decided to cut it out into the size I would use for a card then go from there.
I had not intended to use it for this card, but when I started working,
this CAS card just came to be. I thought that the colors and
simplicity of it all made the sentiment (word art) stand out all the more.
It is such a beautiful verse.
When I read it, I think of my own life.
I don't want to live a LOOK AT ME life.
I don't like to or want to be showy.
I WANT and STRIVE to live a life that reflects God and what He desires.
Anything I do, I want to do it for God and have Him shine through me.
That isn't as easy as it sounds when ME takes over with my control issues and OCD.
No, that is flesh and not of God and I need to LET THAT GO so I can let HIM work.
So take time to stop before you jump.
Think about Him and what He wants for your life.
Are the actions you are getting ready to take or the words you are getting ready to say
reflective of your Father in Heaven who is wanting to start and continue a good work in you?
Does He expect us to fall of fail? Of course. We are human.
What he wants is for us to get up or simply fall into His arms.
He wants us to realize He is God and that His ways are pure and holy and good.
That He wants to show himself strong in our lives.
We just have to step aside. Let ourselves go and let Him move.
Sounds so hard and so easy all at the same time.
Please take time to listen to this song.
I know it will bless your heart and help you if you are struggling with letting go
and letting God go, as I have been.
This is so creative. Love the flowing ink.
