Happy Joyful Birthday

We have had such a TERRIBLE past few weeks!
My kids had the flu some kind of fierce. 
My daughter couldn't even dance her solos in her competition.
Then Saturday afternoon she was attacked and bit by a dog.
It was TERRIBLE. Minor wounds, but really shaken up.
Went to the ER and had a tetanus shot and is on antibiotics.
Sigh....
I really feel terrible for her. She will be 13 this month and I want
this month to be special for her, not a list of BAD memories.
Any ideas? (we have NO money ....) so SPECIAL Cheap ideas?

This little card was so much fun to make!
I used the TRY A NEW TECHNIQUE 524 challenge at Splitcoaststampers

I have never tried this before, and one of my acrylic blocks is wavy! FUN! 
and perfect for this challenge. 

I colored up the

and stamped the background with tim holtz distress ink in lipstick
the SU sentiment was stamped using momento tuxedo black ink. 



I added lots of sparkle by placing glue dots and sprinkling 
American Craft Loose Glitter in  WOW! Carrot 
around the stamped background.
