Its time for another WORD ART WEDNESDAY Challenge post.
I love WAW, but admit I have been slack these past few weeks.
Karen has had to put up with me being late for a while now.
I feel terrible about that... I even had it all prepared EARLY yesterday, but
forgot to send her the card after I left for dance and came home to make
dinner and all of the cakes and goodies for my son's birthday (that's today!)
I truly do not like being late and I ask Karen and the WAW Team to please forgive me.
I can not believe my little man is 11 years old today.
He is such a sweetheart and I love him to pieces.
He loves MINECRAFT, so I made him a creeper cake for here and creeper
cupcakes for his friends at dance. He has hip hop tonight, and they are sure
to leave out of there hungry! :)
I am pretty good at decorating cakes and cupcakes.
BUT
EVERY
TIME
I mane the kids a birthday cake something goes terribly wrong!!!
My poor son's creeper cake is just so ugly!LOL!!!
He said he doesn't care and that he loves it... (yes, he saw it)
but I know the real deal. Sigh.
I won't show you the cake... but here are the sad, sad cupcakes.
(see, I told ya! lol!!!)
Now on to my card for this week.
This scripture is so beautiful! I love how encouraging and
uplifting this verse is. A reminder that God will never leave us,
even when we don't understand our circumstances, He is there.
He sent His Holy Spirit to give us comfort and hope and peace.
This word are is FREE for you to save and use on your creations.
Just hop over to the WAW Challenge blog to add it to your collection.
Remember, our challenges are FAMILY FRIENDLY - ANYTHING GOES!
Hope to see you play along!
For those of you following me and know about everything going on with my mom,
I wanted to give you a quick update. God has been so good. He is guiding the doctors,
finances, treatments, and has His hand upon her. He has proven it time and time again!
She is still in pain and doesn't feel well. It's starting to get to her a little bit.
She isn't one to sit down all the time.
I want to ask you to please continue to pray for her. She starts chemo tomorrow.
She will have two different drugs and will be receiving them through an IV for 5 hours.
That's a long time!!! :/
She also has to have bloodwork and see the doctors before she goes in. This leaves her
with a 12+ hour day (driving time included) Just pray that the medications aren't harmful to her
body, she tolerates them well, they have safe travels, and that the day goes by quickly.
Thank you all!
Lots of love - God bless!
Heather
Very pretty, Heather!
