I am usually drawn to BRIGHT and BOLD colors for
my Christmas creatiuons. Well. Any creation really ;)
But this card is a bit different. I was going through my scraps
searching for something red or pink and a bold pattern to show through the
die... but nothing was working for me. I found some scrap black poster board
left over from a dance kids school project and thought "hmmm..."
I used my new, beautiful Simon Says Stamp Simple Poinsettia Wafer Die
to create a gorgeous top layer... now to find a background.
I held this up to SO MANY different patterned papers.
Starting with BOLD, of course. I held it up to every red I had.
Dots, snow.. you name it. Then I stumbled upon these tiny, teal Christmas trees.
YES! I found it!!!
This patterned paper is from THE PAPER STUDIO Snow Day Stack.
I then added some DS tape, glitter, ribbon, rhinestones, a fun mini ornament and the
heartwarming sentiment from Word Art Wednesday.
