Just Because I Love You!

Good Morning!
It has been TOO long since I have had the chance to post!
This card was created for our new Month long Prize challenge for  Feb at Freshly Brewed Challenges. We are wanting to see any projects that show LOVE!!!
I chose to create a friend themed card... you will see why later in this post :D HEHEHE
I made a matching card and little envelope. This little envelope has a secret inside...
as you lift the bag open, there is a little slider in there that pulls the goodies up for the recipient to see right away! Genius right?!? This template is actually called Surprise Purse. It can be found at Creations by AR along with MANY OTHER AWESOME TEMPLATES!
I used my NEW twinery twine (and older twine in maraschino ) to decorate this felt heart. The new color I used is called FLAX. It is a really light brown and goes very well with the kraft paper, dont you think? I tried to stitch it on with a blanket stitch, but found I am not soo good at that one... need more practice definitely! :D
Here is the card all alone. I used my Fresh Brewed Designs La Dulce Vita (the sweet life) rubber stamp, an OLD woodblock stamp by stampcraft called love for the sentiment, a marvy scalloped punch for the white circle, my nestabilities punch for the lacy scalloped circle die, American Craft Bookshelf Alcott designer paper, PTI Kraft paper, prismacolor markers, twiinery twine in flax and a 5x7 embossing folder.
HERE IS THE SURPRISE~!!
Wait for it...
Wait for it.....
Look at this again.. inside the envelope...
what does that say? Oh! you have a chance to win a free rubber stamp!
How you ask?

ABC with FBD

hehehe! I had to steal that from my DT member and friend Stacie. I thought that was just too cute :D.

Sorry for my delay in posting. I am really not sure what today even is right off the top of my head :/. My little man has been pretty sick with a high fever, sore throat and other things I will spare you from reading about. Thank goodness the fever has left him, we are just trying to get the other things under control and make sure he does not become dehydrated. We have to be back at the dr this afternoon.

Back to the post :D
Yesterday was the start of the new Freshly Brewed Challenge which is to create Anything But a Card. Bags, boxes, treat holders,Link bookmarks, wall hangings.... the possibilities are endless!!!

Here is a project I created using Adlea's template: 3 pocket Caddy. This template is available in a PDF file. Her templates are all just so beautiful and so easy to create with.

My flower filled gift set using
Daisy with Flowers Digital Stamp

I created a bookmark that fits inside a pocket that is decorated with a FBD Digital stamp: Daisy with Flowers. Daisy is colored with prismacolor markers and decorated with diamond stickles. I also used the cuttlebug swiss dots folder, glass beads, ribbon, and a border punch to decorate the caddy.

I am off to take a break before getting my little man off to the dr. I am not tired due to the lack of sleep I have gotten, just a little light headed. Perhaps I will start another pot of coffee :)

Hope to see you participate in this weeks challenge!!! Please stop by and check out the post for all the current FBD News!

The House that Jack Built

Good Morning everyone! Today is the day! The day of what you ask? The day of the CDAC blog hop of course! There is over $300 prizes to be won AND every digi company in the hop is giving away prizes! WOOT!!! but to play along you will not find the links here, they are on the Freshly Brewed Challenges blog HERE

Do you remember the card I made last week with little Jack sitting in the windobox for Tracy at Eat Sleep Stamp's challenge? This is a spin off that card. I realized as simple as it was to create, I did not explain how I did it. I hope you enjoy this project as much as I have created it and I hope you will stop back by THE CHALLENGE BLOG around 11EST for the hop!!!

The project I created to share with you today is called
The House That Jack Built
I used three Fresh Brewed Designs images to create this cute little set.
1) Jack's First Tooth
2) Jack Smiles
3) Jack Scared

To create this fun house I used Adela at Creations by AR's template called House of Cards. I had so much fun creating this with her so easy to use instructions! Be sure to check her out!!! So many fun things she has to offer.

And here is a little tutorial collage for you. To create the faux siding it is simply explained as
score, fold, ink, flatten, decorate and done!

I really enjoyed creating this for you and am so happy that you stopped by. Don't forget that the current Freshly Brewed Sketch Challenge is going on HERE and you still have until the end of Saturday to get in on the fun coffee day give away found HERE. AND if you like what you see here, keep on the lookout! Fresh Brewed Designs will be having a DT call in the very near future!

Have a BEAUTIFUL AND BLESSED day everyone!

FBD Fun Foods HOP

Good Morning!
Welcome to the Fresh Brewed Designs Fun Foods Hop!!!

If you are just getting here, you will need to go back and start from the beginning with Mary. If you have hopped through, arrived on my blog from my Guest Designer Carol, then you are right on track!
While on this hop you will find a fun little game!!!
There is a secret word 'hiding' on each hop stop (INCLUDING MINE!!!). Just collect the words and send them to me in an email
( freshbreweddesigns at yahoo dot com)
and you have a chance to win free images. Simple as that!

All of my cards are simple so they can fit inside this darling little Restaurant Box. The template can be found here: Creations by AR House of Cards.
Adela created some very cute and fun window and door accessories to go with this as well. I had to create my own for this cafe, but plan to create another set using hers.

OK, are you ready to see some FUN???

have a sweet day

All of the images for this hop (aside from the have a Sweet day) will include two images with your purchase. The image with the sentiment underneath and an image with no sentiment.
They will all be added to the shop and available for purchase tomorrow.

they still wanted to and have showed so much love and support.
I am so blessed and (while I still feel guilty about them playing along)

Thanks for spending part of your day with us!
God Bless,

Long Time No Post :/

FRESH BREWED DESIGNS BLOG HOP
MARCH 15!
Hope to see you there!!!

Hi everyone. It seems like forever sense I have posted anything! I have created a few projects to share with you today. This one is a gift I made for a family member. I found this adorable 3 pocket caddy template over at Adela's blog. If you have not seen her amazing work or her beautiful template designs, be sure to pop on over and check them out. She is super talented!!! And one of the sweetest gals around.

I created this card using the sketch provided at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.I used my Fresh Brewed Designs image Coffee Talk, American Craft paper for this project, scrap ribbon, my cuttlebug embossing folder, prismacolor markers, my terrible sewing machine skills, stick on rhinestones, Martha Stewart border punch, a marvy circle punch, and the bookmark sentiment was computer generated.

I am off to get the kids ready to go. My daughter has a Dr. apt a few hours away and we need to get going soon. Hope you are all having a beautiful and blessed week. I will be back later with another project as well as edit this post to add the other challenges I used to create these projects.

Hugs!
