truth

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."

Why I Have Been MIA

this is posted also on Cafe Mom .. this is for those of you who have not read it yet...

I appreciate your prayers for Hannah over the last weeks or so. What I am getting ready to tell you will make you think "what? again" ... I was getting ready for church this morning and Tommy got called into work. He was having to drive hours away to pick up a prisoner. Anyway, Hannah came in to the bathroom said she was itchy. Her face was swoken again and welted! My heart sank and I became totally panicked. I called my mom, got hannah her meds, called my hubby whom I could not reach and had to call the police office for them to call him. She had NOTHING to eat yet ~ nothing! I was freaking and racking my brain to figure it out. We have a dog that I feel bad for and have been letting her slowly back into the hosue since she is getting old. Well, apparently Daisy had grass on her or had eaten grass and licked Hannah causing her to break out in welts and swell. Her pediatrician gave me instructions on what to look for ( trust me , I already know.. but it s comforting to hear you are doing it right). We gave her the medications. I told him I wanted her to see a pediatric allergist in Charleston MUSC. You have to have a referral to see one. Tommy went on to work and I asked Mama and Daddy to take us to church and have her prayed over. We went up and the pastor anointed her. Everyone gathered around and prayed, some speaking on tongues. I was so hurt and scared and sad and confused. A lady who has been sick a very long time was at church today. I had no idea who was praying for me until later, but she was praying that God would give me peace and several other things she said. Like I said, I was a wreck. I felt a peace come over me like no other. Hannah was holding me. We looked at her after prayer and all the welts were gone. !!! Did you hear me? GONE! Praise God!!! I am at my moms right now keeping an eye on her until Tommy gets home. Satan is sneaky and he does not like when Gods children praise and pray. He is trying to make it come back and her face became a little red again and swelling a little bit when we got home. If I have to take her to the ER i will. I am not going to let satan win or do anything to hurt my child! He does noth ave any place here. God is and will always be in control and I will not stand down! My feet are planted on the rock and I will not fall or shift. The battle has already been won, the story has been told and I know the ending! I will praise God, I will lift my hands and my voice. I will call upon his name and he will hear my cry. My faith will grow stronger. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run, and not be weary. they shall walk and not faint" Isaiah 40:31
Please remember us int his time and please continue to pray. Thank you for reading this and letting me 'get this out'. I love you all!!!

That was yesterday. Today I am working on getting her to a specialist as well as changing foods and just other major life changes. I will keep you up to date and will probably be back tonight with a card. I need some release!:) Thanks again! I love you girls!
