For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:

R U Ready For Some Fooball???

I am not!!! lol. My husband loves the south carolina gamecocks. It is where he went to college, and I am sure that plays a big role. He just loves the game. I am not a sporty girl. I do not quite understand the game much less get so emotional about such things. SO, I craft!!! And he doesn't complain. I am in the room with him now watching him huff and puff, sit on the edge of his seat then fall back down again. Commercial breaks are his PlayStation times... where he plays .. you guessed it! A football game :). I love him so much ... :) I kindof feel bad for him when they lose.

Ok, enough on that. I did get the chance to make a few cards over the last 2 days. I found some paper I loved! The pinks, oranges, greens and all were so pretty; I could not wait to use it. I thought it was great with the inkadinkado baby carriage image .. but remembered my Hanna Tis the Season To Be Pretty set and thought it would look good with that too. I am so happy with the result. (well color anyway, i am still not 100% happy with any card I have made ... ).

On my Cafe Mom group we are having a few swaps, challenges and granting wishes. I had to fill in for someone who was sick and grant another wish for a friend. I did not have either of her wishes so I went to the craft store in the cold rain :). My poor kids did not want to drag in Michaels... but they went with out complaining. I bought her and myself my first Gelly Roll White pen. I did not intend on going today and did not have a coupon so I just got that and was leaving. a lady in line asked if I had a coupon. She gave me one!!! So I bought my very first fluffies stamp. I was not a HUGE fan of them. I think they are so so cute.. but still not that high on my list. I LOVED this one and knew I had to have it!:) So I got it for 40% off making me and my hunny happy:).
I am a little eh about this card. I used the tut on splitcoast to make the fake stained glass look. The image is a SU set my MIL gave me a few years ago before I really got started stamping. I love the image .. just not the way this card turned out. That is all I have to say about this one :)

This card is not what I had in mind. I used my Fiscars DS CS and an inkadinkado clear set to create the card. I made it for a friend of mine whos grandma is dying from lung cancer. She is going to start treatments soon, but she is still not expected to live. Please join me in praying for her and her family.

I guess that is all for tonight. I dont feel like going through all the deets for my cards. i guess the main things are that I used Bazzil CS, Fiscars CS, Color Pencils and OMS, and a gelly roll white pen. Thanks for visiting me. Have a blessed Sunday.
