Sparkle

I started off coloring this image yesterday after I colored my Cecily Cinnamonsticks. I sat her aside for later. I have been dying to make a card with her all day. I had my images stamped (Christmas animals) for the Sketch Saturday Challenge on PCP, but this little Huggabug kept calling my name. How could I resist her?!?! So, the Sketch Saturday card was set aside and will be made later. . just not in time for the challenge. I am ok with that :o). I h ad an idea of how I wanted to use her, but when I saw Taylor's sketch it was a light bulb came on in my head. Do you know how rare it is for a card to look just how i envisioned it to look?? Maybe not exactly color wise and such .. but pretty darn close. i am very happy with this little card. She makes me happy :o). I added some powder glittery sparkles under her as if to look like she was flying and leaving a trail of sparkle dust. I had to add cupcakes!!! She looks so happy with her hands raised as if she is trying to choose which to eat first :o). I hope you like her as much as I do.

I am so sorry guys! I have a bad habit of doing this at night and forgetting to list materials. Like you just magically know :o). Yes, the cupcakes are by Inque Botique except for the teensie one. It is from a clear set by inkadinkado. I used 4 different stickles Crystal, cotton candy, fruit punch, and yellow. These papers are scraps (I HAVE A HUGE SCRAP BOX AND HAVE VOWED TO USE IT, lol). To ink this I used my brillince graphite black. I colored it with my bic markers and copics. I think that is all?? :o)

Tommys birthday went very well. The kids took a $ to the dollar store and picked Daddy out a gift all by themselves. Hannah got him a cobalt blue pen, Tommy Ray got him a singing Santa tie. I made him an eggless chocolate peppermint cake (yummy ~ more to share on that tomorrow) as well as fettuccine with marinara and chicken Marsala (one of his favorite meals I prepare.) The kids sang and played. It was a very nice and fun(ny) evening.

hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Finish up your Christmas shopping. You are running out of time!!! :o)
