I got an email Saturday from a very sweet friend that she had left me an award on her blog.
Els is so sweet and always leaves the nicest comments. Not just a
coment to comment, but a heartfelt one. She is very talented too, you much check her blog out if you get the chance. On to the award. Quoted from Els' blog "The award is called 'Marie Antoinette', but in fact it is Jeanne-
Antoinne Poisson, better known as Madame
de Pompadour, painted here by
François Boucher in 1756. She had a great passion for literature and also for wallpaper by Jean-Baptiste
Réveillon. I'm sure she would have adored all our great design papers! " I could not have said it better!
The rules for this award:
1. Link to the person who gave you the award : super sweet and talented
Els2. Nominate 7 more persons.
3. Link the nominees and let them know about this award.
4. Post the award on your own blog.
This is the hardest part: to pick only 7 names out of all my extremely talented friends! I tried to choose the ones that I had not awarded in a while but given the
chane to tell them I love them .. I jumped on it :o)
1. Callie 2. Norma 3. Gill 4. Dee 5. Carolyn 6. Carol 7. Cassandra
That's so sweet. thanks a million. I know what you mean. comments are great, but the heartfelt ones are so much more meaningful. =0)
ReplyDeleteThanks for YOUR sweet comment about me, it made me blush!
ReplyDeleteI also thank you for putting the 'history' behind the painting with the award (I love history and paintings, and want the right person to get credit for his/her art work! Guess we all do, don't we?).
Big hugs from Belgium.
