I made this card for the sugar bowl challenge. I had to search the images I had been RAKed with to see which were Sugar Nellie's. I just ordered my first 2 yesterday, but feared they would not be in in time for this challenge. I ordered Time for Apple Pie and Country Girl . I cant wait to get them. I love this image too. I think she is SOO sweet!!! I honestly have never used so many layers on a card, so it was a bit intimidating. I used 2 sheets of double sided fiskars papers by heidi grace. The chipboard is by heidi grace as well. I colored her with my crayola color pencils and OMS. It was so light and soft, i felt it needed something. to carry on with the soft theme, i added some pearl ex powder to her shirt and hat, then dipped my versamark pen into a few different pots to add shimmer to her hair, flowers and clothes. This sketch was really fun and I think I will use it again for a few special Valentine cards I plan to make. Hannah loves this one so much, ((she says it is the best card I have ever made ;) )) so this one is going into a frame for her room. Thanks for the challenge.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28
truth
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV
