Sugar Sugar

This card was made using the sketch provided on the Sugar Bowl challenge blog . I really enjoyed working with this beautiful sketch! The only Sugar Nellie images I have are RAKs, but I really would love to own some of them someday. That with how many others? lol!!! They have such beautiful stamps! I love these girls, and the Gorjuss girls, and well, all of them :D. I know you all do as well. To create this card I used Memory Makers DS paper given to me in a card kit, brown card stock, Martha Stewart border punch, RAKed flowers and buttons, prismacolor markers, skin copics, and bic markers.

I can not believe it is Friday already! WOW! I thought I had a week longer for school. Even Tommy took next week off so we could get ready. I was going by my county's calendar and school year, not that of the school we are going thorough this year. It was a sad sad day for me. Now I am in panic mode, really not mentally prepared, and so wanted to enjoy our week having Tommy home. sigh. Oh well. :)

Have a Beautiful and Blessed weekend. Don't forget to come back tomorrow to see my last project for the Hanna Guest designer challenge, if you want to ;). HUGS!!!!

From My Heart

I received this image from a very sweet friend of mine on Cafe mom a week or so ago. I fell instantly in love, then saw the Sugar Bowl challenge! YAY!!! i got to use her right away! I had her colored for over a week and just found time today to make my card. I colored her in with my bic markers and that is all. I made my circular cuts with my cricut (accent essentials) and added the pretty prima flowers. She is just the sweetest girl and I will add this stamp to my list. It is adorable! I am getting hooked the more Iget to use the Sugar Nellie stamps!!! I did decorate the inside but kept it simple at the same time. She deserved it :o) don't you think?? Hope you like my card.

You're special to me

I made this card for the sugar bowl challenge. I had to search the images I had been RAKed with to see which were Sugar Nellie's. I just ordered my first 2 yesterday, but feared they would not be in in time for this challenge. I ordered Time for Apple Pie and Country Girl . I cant wait to get them. I love this image too. I think she is SOO sweet!!! I honestly have never used so many layers on a card, so it was a bit intimidating. I used 2 sheets of double sided fiskars papers by heidi grace. The chipboard is by heidi grace as well. I colored her with my crayola color pencils and OMS. It was so light and soft, i felt it needed something. to carry on with the soft theme, i added some pearl ex powder to her shirt and hat, then dipped my versamark pen into a few different pots to add shimmer to her hair, flowers and clothes. This sketch was really fun and I think I will use it again for a few special Valentine cards I plan to make. Hannah loves this one so much, ((she says it is the best card I have ever made ;) )) so this one is going into a frame for her room. Thanks for the challenge.
