LOVE MONKEY!! This weeks CBCC Tuesday #24 is to make a masculine valentine.WHAT??? lol Do you know how hard that is?? Lol. Courtney!!! MAN! the DTs and Courtney have done an amazing job on theirs. Cute, funny, sweet ... but all masculine. This was a big challenge for me. I am SO NOT GOOD at masculine cards. This one is as close as I could get. I added cute and funny in my card. Does this not sound like something a man would say? Lol. ((and I smelled a whiff of overripe bananas while posting this ... thinking I was losing it .. but there they are. Whew!!! I am not bananas :oD! )) SO, this card was very simple to make. I actually used a left over cricut cut as a template for this heart. I cut it out, painted a glittery tulip paint over the tan heart, cut and pieced the arrow through it and voila! A pretty little heart. Changito started off being cut and pasted on a circle, but I changed my mind and cut him out a second time. He and the sentiment were RAKed images from my friend Carol. ((THANKS)). I colored him with my bic markers and a gold glitter pen for the bow. Hope you like the card. Thanks for stopping by.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28
truth
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV
This card is gorgeous! Which man/monkey wouldn't love this! The one who doesn't is just plain bananas, lol!
