“If you can dream it, you can do it. Always remember that this whole thing was started with a dream and a mouse. This Walt Disney quote I found that just jumped out at me. When I first started card making, house mouse stamps were my first obsession. I remember my first ever visit to Hobby Lobby. I was in heaven. I did not have much $$ to purchase near as many as I would have liked, nor do I think I ever will ... but I get them when I can and watch my collection grow. When I look at them I smile. It is more than stamps, memories are added to them. Friends cards, RAKS, my first cards (i still laugh at). As I grew and started making more cards, I got away from my mice more than I wanted to. I explored and tried new things. I then found this thing we call our blogs. It is more than that to me. I love mine and the wonderful ladies I have met and continue to meet here. Nothing makes me happier than sharing mine and seeing everyones creations. Soon after starting my blog .. I found it! The house mouse challenge group. They inspired me and made me get my mousies back out.
I LONG for Mondays now only because of this challenge. It is my most favorite challenge and the one that I always set out to make sure I do. I love House Mouse, the group, all of the wonderful friends i have met there. Everyone is so nice and so encouraging. I could not think of a better group of ladies to 'hang out' with.
That all being said, a group of wonderful friends on Cafe Mom ((where i first discovered my love for card making)) told me last night that House Mouse was having a DT call. I did not think it was for this group, how did i miss that? I was thinking. I found it and sure enough there it was. I went back and several other of my wonderful friends were telling me to do it, some were cheering and some were threatening ;) ((you know who you are, and I love you MWAH!)) I think in some way this whole spill tells you why I would like to be considered for the House mouse DT. Thank you for the opportunity and I hope you enjoy my cards.
