truth

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

Catch me if you can!

This card is for the House Mouse Monday challenge which was to make a Valentine. I actually made / started a few, but wanted to use this one for the challenge. It is fairly simple, but I really liked it. I made it for my son. It is not that often you find a Valentine that works for a little boy. I think he will like it. He has made me Valentines almost every day :) A smiley face or something and brings it to me saying "Happy Valentimes day mama!" And of course you know I am working on Hannahs as well. That will probably be my next post.

I used my prismacolor pencils, OMS, cricut, cb folder spots and dots, HH Great catch, and martha stewart glitter for this project.

Our week / weekend has been quite eventful. My mom had the kids Wed night for a sleepover, I get food poisoning and am up all night sick :( Friday morning ((was supposed to be a wonderful day: I am guest designer for Courtney, we are having a trip to Columbia and I got to hit Hobby Lobby, It was the 11 anniv of Tommy and I's first date ...)) Hannah woke up, eyes watering like crazy, eczema flared up, eyes swollen almost shut. I freak, cry, call my mom. As she was awake a while it started improving. We went anyway and met with a compound pharmacist. $150 later he gave us some things to try and confirmed that I was doing the right things with her diet and such. I have been praying and searching for what is the trigger to these outbreaks. It had to have been God, because it was out of the blue that my cousin and I were talking and came to find that the crisco they told me to use as a hydration (since she was allergic to everything else) had SOY in it. I check all ingredients of everything ... but I had missed this! So we have been slapping that all over her face and making it worse!!! I felt horrible. So Friday night when we got home her throat started hurting. She was getting a cold. That makes her eczema worse! You see All the attacks Satan was throwing my way, trying to discourage us? Well, Saturday morning our stress levels were high and Tommy and I got into a fight. We did not talk all day (Satan again ...) I was well aware of that and what he was trying to do, but was not going to let it happen. I went to the health food store and found coconut oil (solid, melts as soon as you touch it) I researched it and found amazing things about it helping eczema. I purchased it on a whim and a prayer ... and it is working. Her face is not as red, not as scaly or flaky! Even after having a cold and a fever which is amazing in itself! It is still red, but you can see a change! and that is GOOD! I am so happy right now. Since I can't take her to church and testify, I could not think of a better place than to do it here! So praise God!!! I am so thankful for all he does and all he takes us through. He always brings us through. I heard something on the radio the other day that helped me a lot. A lady was struggling with something in her life, having a hard time trusting God or understanding why all the things were happening. He talked to her and told her that God is good and he just needs her to have faith that no matter how hard it is, he is in it and he is there for her. At the end before she hung up, he told her that god told him to tell her not to forget that IT IS FINISHED! he has already finished it, it is over. All we have to do is accept that and have faith. WOW this was really long. Sorry. If you got to read it all, bless you :o). I love you all and am so glad i have you to share this with. Thank you all for your prayers. Keep them coming.
Have a blessed day.

As for the rest of your post, I just wanna say I love you - you are such a strong woman, even though you may feel weak at times, look at all that you have been through and you are still standing strong, with hope in your heart! You will overcome, I hope that you and Tommy were able to kiss and make up and that Hannah is feeling better. Hugs to all of you!
