And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28

truth

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

tall and thin .. or short and wide?

The house mouse challenge this week was to make a tall and thin card ...but mine ended up being short and wide :o) I spent a lot of time on this card, and wish it was prettier. I don't know what I was thinking. ((can you tell yet that I am not loving it??)) I do know that I was not thinking solely on the card. Hannah is sick and it has been a pretty "Mondayish" Monday. I did, however, find time to make this card off and on throughout the day. I used a RAKed image and RAKed paper for this. I was in a few swaps this month on Cafe mom as well as a Secret Sister exchange. I have about 4 stacks of beautiful paper I got this week and some of it is from those stacks.

I want to take this chance to thank my friends here. I appreciate all of you so very much. I wish I could reach through and give each and every one of you a hug right now. All of your support and kindness you show me. All the wonderful comments here and the love you showed me on Courtneys blog as well. I was so touched to read them all. I do not think I could ever express how much you all mean to me.

I got some happy mail today that was so unexpected .. and when I opened it I was floored! Stacy is such a kind and giving person. She has such a good heart and has been there for me here on my blog and in other ways. She has been such an amazing friend, always concerned and praying for Hannah. Thank you for that. And then this .. for me?!?! I appreciate all of these beautiful goodies so much. I am still in shock I think! It is just too much and I love everything. And the card is FANTASTIC! It made me cry. I will TRY not to hoard it and will enjoy using every lovely item in that overflowing box of yumminess :o).

  7. Girlie-girl...what in the world is wrong with your vision...because this card is PRECIOUS!!!! I love the way you colored the sweet image...love all the froth!!! I also love the peek-a-boo layout and the beautiful DPs!!! I really, really love the ribbon treatment!!! Talk about creative!!! I will definitely be trying it out on a future card...that is, if you don't mind. Personally, I think you must have needed some more coffee or something to help you see what the rest of us sees...a TOTAL BEAUTY!!! So, have a cup or two, and take another look. Okay?

    Sending you loads of love!!!
