How do you know when my kids are feeling better? I get up early enough to make a card .. and one I love to boot! YAY! The kids are doing school for the first time in over a week, they are happy and healthy. I could not be happier!!! We made a hershey's Wacky cake last night and a homemade thick fudge syrup for it. It was YUMMY!!! especially since we have not had a treat like that in a long time. It is hard to find things to make that are free of all the foods my kids are allergic to. This one was all milk and egg free and you would have never known it!!! The fudge was made with rice milk, my own blender made powdered sugar, coconut oil, hershey's cocoa, and water. It took some figuring out, but turned out very yummy. OK, enough about the cake .. and on to the card. This is for the Cute Card Thursday. Can you believe it is their birthday?? Yay for them!! This is one of my favorite challenge groups and I love all the inspiration that is there. I want to congratulate them on a successful and very fun year. :) This card is made with American Craft patterned paper, a handmade paper (green dots), and bazzil CS. I colored this RAKed ((by my wonderful and sweet friend Norma)) image with my BIC makrers and a skin copic. I had the tag all cut out but it covered too much of the green paper .. and I did not want to hide it so I cut out a frame in the tag, cut out the image and voila. It all just fell together and was a result of my great mood for sure. I do hope you all like it and have a wonderful Monday!
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28
truth
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV
Love the warm colors and lovely details. Great idea to have a "frame" of a tag!
