I made this card for the cup cake challenge. I so wanted to reuse last weeks card:) It would have been perfect:). i found this image as well as the paper which I think were RAKed by my wonderful friend Carol way back when. The image (by SU maybe?) reminds me of my sister and I when we were younger. We would do all kinds of crazy things together. Riding bikes, exploring the woods and the pasture, climbing up and destroying "Cheese Mountain", catching lightning bugs and per grasshoppers with broken legs we wanted to help, singing truck speed limit 45 to drive everyone crazy, lol!!!!, making up stories and scaring each other to death:) Once there was a snake in the yard ((keep in mind my sis and I are just 18 or so months apart)) I remember her (at age 8 maybe?) carrying me running back to the house screaming:) lol. I think it was probably a garden snake. :) My sister also gave me her fear of heights ((because I used to not be, I would climb on the roof and jump off if given te chance)) and her hate for eggs. I used to LOVE eggs!!! Omelets, boiled ... all of them! Then one fine day when I was maybe 8 or 9 she told me they were babies. I could not eat another!!! I would also look at the pasture and the cows and get so sad vowing not to ever eat another hamburger again. the temptation was too strong though :). AS long as I did not think about it we were good. :) Becky and I played, fought, loved and learned a lot from each other over the years. She still is my best friend and I love her so very much. I mailed this card to my Granny to send her a smile yesterday. I hope she gets it and thinks of Becky and I when she looks at it.
OK, off for my morning coffee I go. the kids were super happy and actually played yesterday. I cant tell you what a relief it is to have them happy and playing again! Hope you all have a beautiful and blessed Sunday.
I love this card! The little girls are so sweet! You made me wish I had had a sister. (I have 4 brothers!) Sounds like you have a wonderful relationship with her. I'm glad the kids seem better. I hope you are all well for a loooooooooooong time! God bless you!
