And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."

love you

This card is for the House Mouse Monday Challenge which is to make a gate fold card. I remember when I first started making cards and tried this out. LOL! It was a total disaster and I made maybe 4 bases before I gave up. Funny now .. I am not sure what I was doing wrong? :) I used (yet another) RAKed image. I thought they were such a darling little pair. I first made just the gate fold and the image. Then I added the extra blue behind the image but I still felt it was missing something. I added the chipboard piece, ribbon and flower, a few birdnest bauble thingies and voila it was complete. Well, after I made the inside that is :). I do hope you like this card.

Have a wonderful Wednesday. I SHOULD hear something from Duke today (fingers crossed)

  1. Aww this is so sweet! I love your gatefold card too! What great colors and that extra extension on the left flap is so clever! You colored the image beautifully. Just Gorgeous!

  2. This is another of my favorite HM images! Ha! I remember that! The first gatefolds? Cause I always had the same prob, and just trimmed to compensate, ha, ha, ha! Well, great job, as usual, mama

  3. What a lovely lovely card. That image is just beautiful, never seen it before, but i love it.
