I saw this quote on my friend Carolyn's blog this morning and it touched my heart.
Life is like a rainbow...You need both the sun and the rain to make its colors appear.
Her entire post did and if you get the chance you should take the time to go and read it here. Funny thing is, Carolyn had no idea how I was feeling yesterday morning. Trapped and alone. Many emotions that Satan was just throwing at me to see which would stick. I did shake him off and my family and I had an amazing day together yesterday, but it also showed me that I need to strengthen my walk so I will be more prepared when Satan attacks. The quote stood out to me a lot because I have been sinking more into my storms and rain rather than my 'rainbows'. God is so good to me. I love him so much. I look around at how much he has done for me, for my family. He wraps us up in his love and never lets us go. I am so proud to be a child of God.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28
truth
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

reading this has cleared my head and made my day so much more blessed. Thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteI am so very happy that this quote touched you in such a powerful way. Know that you are no different than the rest of us...that is what makes us of the flesh...human. We all feel Satan's breath on our backs from time to time, and we occasionally give him more power than he truly has or deserves by allowing him to affect our moods, emotions, etc... We just need to remember that he may be breathing down our back, but GOD has our back! He has promised to stay near us and keep His angels close to us at all times and even closer when the enemy is afoot. God is with us at all times!!! Protecting us...guiding us...nourishing us...uplifting us!!!:o) It is His promise, and he NEVER breaks His promises:o) So, when the enemy is near...take a moment and have a praise break:o) Give glory to God! Thank Him! Sing His praises! Tell the enemy he cannot win because you are a child of God. You will be surprised how quickly the cowardly enemy scurries away:o) And, when he does, you feel invigorated. Praise breaks work wonders for me...and keeps me sane:o) Also know, if you ever need me...I am just a phone call away:o)
ReplyDeleteLove you!
