And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28

truth

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."

I can not seem to add these videos, Satan does not want me to share this with you. I promise you if you will click on the link above or below you will be blessed. I encourage you to watch the first one in full.

I praise and worship you Father, for who you are!

I was stumped for this weeks challenge on my Cute Critters Club group (Cafe Mom). I wanted to do something different but also something the girls would enjoy. Not sure I hit that nail on the head. This was hard! I challenged them to make a card, no stamps, just paper piecing and punches and things like that... and to use color / paper combos they usually would not. Well, it was HARD and I am not so sure I even did it right myself, lol!

While I made this card I was thinking and reflecting on all the things God has done for me, has planned for me (when I say me that includes my entire family), and how much i love Him. I was thinking about all he has created and how the trees even raise their arms up and wave them in worship and praise.

I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed day. I am off to enjoy my last cup of coffee before the kiddies get up :D.

  3. Well, my Friend, I think that you did beautifully in creating this card! Since I have said that....give yourself a pat on the back for doing so well! Okay?

Before I leave, I just want to say that I am so proud of you for homeschooling your children. I have a friend who homeschooled her daughter all the way through High School. She did this because her husband played in the band "Paul Revere and the Raiders" (they are probably before your time.) By doing this with her daughter, they could go on the road with Doug. Her daughter went on to graduate from medical school at the University of Washington and is now practicing in Seattle. Lauri, my friend, said that she was also able to bring the Lord into her teaching of Mariah; thus encouraging her to see life as very, very special and that she could and should contribute to the "good" of society. Mariah certainly did that, didn't she?

  4. It's a great card, I love the trees. I am working on a card with animal print paper, cause I hate animal print stuff, so it is definately a challenge. I thought you said we could stamp a sentiment right, welll I guess I could use a rub-on.
