truth

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."

Smiles for My Friend

This is my last project for the Hanna Guest DT challenge. I chose to make my 3d project bath themed :) as I am sure we all have :) lol. I made this project more bright and fun rather than elegant like the past two have been. I actually completed this towel the week I received my "Sophie"(or so we all assumed, lol. This is actually a Riley ~ OOPS!!! Sorry Riley, we honestly did not know!!! I promise to make you a manly bath very soon!) I borrowed some muslin from my mom, stamped with permanent ink and colored my image with permanent markers, attached it to the towel with some wonder under, then hand stitched the trim, glass beads and flowers. It was a lot of fun to create. I wanted to keep with my purple theme and bought some lovely smelling lavender bath salts. The canister is an old prima flower holder. I added matching trim and flower to the front, colored another RILEY :), cut him out and attached him to the canister. The little package in the middle holds dark chocolate. I thought to myself, what more could complete a relaxing bath than lavender and a feel good book? CHOCOLATE!!!! Sigh. i may just have to keep this for myself ;). Just kidding. I do have someone in mind ;). I do hope you like my project. If you did not know already, Bathtub Riley is now for sale :) WOOT! He really is fun to work with and a must for all of us 'Riley' addicts! :) Have a wonderful and blessed weekend.
