This card is for Caardvarks Sketchfest Friday. I had the most trouble with this one for some reason? I first had the squares on a plain white background but it did not look just right. I would go back and forth with different solid cardstock colors and scratch my head :). lol. I finally decided that if i was not going to go with white, I would use my trusty ol' black. I added the border with a Fiscars punch for a little extra umph I thought it needed. The images are another of my very own from Fresh Brewed Designs. I colored them with my prismacolor markers.
The coffee cup was added to my shop this morning. Don't forget, several others will be added for our release on October 7th. There are a few new Candy Corn additions coming this afternoon :) so check them out if you get the chance :). I think you will like them :).
My mom has been making gourd art for a long time. My daughter LOVES to create and help her. She has so much fun. My mom, however, is alot like me and afraid to get herself out there and sell them. These are far too amazing to keep at home and I am going to start making her get out and get her stuff out there. I LOVE this giraffe. I snagged a shot of Han as she was painting it yesterday. Do you think she knew ?? ;) I love that pose, lol!!!TR did a wonderful job at Karate yesterday. He TRIES to listen and listens well for a young 5 year old. Some of the other kids were giggly and talking a lot and were called down. TR would look at them and do nothing. I was proud. Now, if only he would stop watching himself in the mirror or watching the other kids in line and watch the teacher we might get somewhere:) lol.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! It is finally here :) WOoOooOooo
