I hope you have all had a nice day. It seemed to be warmer here today, maybe? Hope that trend stays a while!!! I was able to make this card tonight using my Country Girl Birthday image from Fresh Brewed Designs.
I colored her with prismacolor markers and skin copics. The cake is coated with tulip slick paint to make it look more 'real'. I have to admit, I have very little ... next to none .. experience with a sewing machine. This is the first time I have used the one my hubby got me for Christmas. I have a feeling my Hannah will use it more for making doll clothes than I will :). I did enjoy flinging my paper around and making a mess thought :D. I could not for the life of me keep it straight ... but really like the way it looks. Sortof has a lasso feel to it ... so it goes with the country girl feel, right?

OK, I am babbling!!! I really need my coffee :)
The kids are still a bit under the weather so to speak. They have terrible coughs. This is how they spent their afternoon ... until the fighting and screaming started.. UGH! Hope tomorrow will be much better. Poor babies :(
Have a great night!

This is a great card Heather! I think your sewing is fine. I bought a machine last year and I've barely used it. I'm considering taking a class this summer. It'll give me something to do with 4 months off school! Hope the children are feeling better!
