Good Morning!
If you are searching for the Sweet Sketch Wednesday post, please scroll down to the next.
Today I am sharing (another) Busy Beauties card with you!
This card is for the current blog challenge that Busy Beauties Boutique is sponsoring at Penny's. Paper Crafty Challenge Blog
The challenge?
To create a shaped card.
I had so much fun playing along with this challenge. I was stumped at first, but as I started creating it all just fell together. My husband was playing the guitar the
other night while I was creating this card. I first hand drew and cut the shapes,
added light blue chalk to shade and give dimension, then I added 'holes'
as my guide for my hand stitching.
It took me literally FOREVER to stitch this up!
Not sure if it was because it was so late (around 1 am) or what the reason. I had fun doing it though and could not stop until It was complete. I looked over at my poor hubby,
guitar in hand, papers strewn all around him and a half cup of coffee by his knee ...
with his eyes closed sitting there getting ready to fall asleep.
I had to stop with the stitching and put the card together the next day.
I added pearl x powder to the clouds to give them a pretty shimmer. It is hard to see in the photos. I used the Busy Beauties image Lovestruck Beauty. She is colored with prismacolor markers. The sentiment is a $ stamp from the Valentine 'bucket' at Michael's craft store.
