truth

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."

Happy Memorial Day

I took this photo a few weeks ago when we took the kids to the boardwalk by the beach. I fell in love with it and hope it touches your heart today as well.

Many of you have already seen my newest image called Daniel: God Bless America. In fact, I have had a few requests since he was created... one being to create a little girl in a similar image. Well, for the ones who suggested it, here you go! :) Meet Grace: God Bless America. ((I am working on a British version so be on the lookout for that too!))

These images are a part of a set called Grace and Daniel that will be released on July 6. These images in particular will be available for purchase in my shop on June 4th. June 2nd we are having a new image release and blog hop, so I have to add those first ;).

If you want to purchase either of these digis before then, please just leave me a comment or email me and we will work it out. BUT FIRST you still have today to try to win one of these for your very own!!! Just head over the the Freshly Brewed Challenge blog to find out all the ways you can get in on the fun!

Here is a card I created using little Miss Grace.

Crazy 4 Challenges has a fun challenge this week. It is to create a tent fold card. This one really got the best of me. I took it apart, glued, unglued and did all kinds of mess to make it work. It is still not what in envisioned, but still cute. I will give it another try one day. The DT sure did make it look easy!!! that is for sure ;).
Challenges:
Stamp Scrap and Doodle: REd white and blue
Freshly Brewed Challenges: Red White and Blue
Diva Coffee Break Designs: Red white and blue
No time to stamp: Flying high and proud color challenge
Crazy 4 Challenges: tent fold card

  1. Oh Heather!!! So sweet! This reminds me of when I was little.. my Dad didn't go to war while I was growing up, thankfully, but he did go out to a lot of field exercises where he was gone for weeks. I remember once he went to Honduras for 6 months, I missed him so much! I honestly don't know how my Mom did it!
And, since I'm married to a Brit, I'm looking forward to seeing your British versions! You're awesome! Loves Ya!!
    Hugs,
    Dee
