I am SO SORRY that I have forgotten to post my Sweet Sketch Wednesday post for the week. I have been wanting so badly to share this card with you .. I am still not sure how it skipped my mind. :(
Our sponsor this week is: Judy from DIGI DOODLE SHOP. Judy is offering Three (3) free digis of you choice to the winner of the challenge.
Digi Doodle Shop is a fairly new digi shop. They have been opened now for two months. They have a collection of 250 wonderful images to choose from.
I had SO much fun creating this card. My little baby image was a blast to color. I also paper pieced the babies hat and diaper cover to match the bg paper. The blue paper was not working for me, but then I remembered it was white core paper and could sand it! woot! I really do love the way it turned out. For the little babys circle bed, I cut a circle from my cricut, found an old white baby tee from the kids clothes I was taking to good will, added some fluffed cotton balls and hand stitched little knots around the middle to make it look poofy then around the entire circle to keep it together for sure! I then removed some wire from a ribbon, attached a felt heart and beads and made a mobile for the little fella. The sentiment is by Stampin Up Small Sayings.
I hope you all have had a wonderful week and an even more wonderful weekend. School is almost out here (woot) but I will still be running crazy with dance recital, nationals, summer intensive, signing up and getting ready for the next year of homeschooling... wow the summer feels gone already :( sigh.
I have another card to share with you in the morning, so see you then :D
