And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28

truth

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV
Jesus is our soon coming King
James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."

He Gave it All

When we, I, think of memory verses learned as a child this is the one I go straight to. It is the one we all know and think of it as a childs verse. We remember it in the singsong way and really do not take the time to read it anymore because it is one we know by heart... but reread it and take it to heart. For GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD that he GAVE his ONLY begotten so that WHOSOEVER believeth in him SHOULD NOT PERISH but have EVERLASTING LIFE!!! Now, if that isn't something to shout about, I don't know what is!!! He did not HAVE to do any of this for us, but he loved us that much. He gave his son and his son died willingly out of love for us to cover OUR Sin. It should have been me on that cross, not our wonderful loving savior.I made this card for the Salt challenge which is Faith. It sortof goes off their theme, so it may not be counted for their challenge / post.

Faith is believing in something you can not see. I know that all God asks of us to be saved is to believe, have faith the size of a grain of mustard seed, that he died for us, loves us, forgave us of our sin and for us to confess with our mouths all these things, and to live a life holy for him, leave all the unpleasant things behind that we had in our life before him and sin no more.

It is one of the hardest things for us to understand HOW he can forgive us AND forget. We are washed clean, the sin remembered no more. We continue to beat ourselves up and think and dwell on the past at times, but God tells us he already forgave us, it is gone the very minute we confess, cast into the sea of forgetfulness.

Lets read a little further in the third book of John
John 3:16-18 [16] "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. [18] Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
I am not big on sharing websites and things because I do not want to send anyone anywhere that would not be 100% truth and would harm them rather than hurt them. I read over this site and have checked a few verses I was unfamiliar with and do not see anything that is not biblically truth. Some things are defined and better explained for you to understand. I read out of a King James Version Bible, so it did vary from my particular scriptures but not to change the meaning.

  14. OH what a beautiful card, Heather! THis is one of my all time favorites of yours (and that's hard to pick a fave!) The stitching, the beauty of your verse and how it loops around- stunning!

I love the verse and it always speaks volumns - maintaining faith in a secular world is sometimes hard to do, but it's the driving force for many of us! I'm so blessed to know you! x0x0
