For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

Coffee ... Take Me Away!

Oh today has been a full, wonderful, stressful, crazy day (hence my late post!!!)
I will share more later about why it was so backwards and upside down, but for now, lets just talk about this card. I am going to be this girl later tonight, escaping from the stresses (good stresses though) of life in a big cup of java. :)

I created this image with the 'Calgon take me away' saying in mind. We all need time to ourselves, and I think this is my fantasy of that! lol!!!She is colored up with my prismacolor markers. The BG paper is by Making Memories. I created the shower curtain with Midori ribbon in Winter Caravan. It is so soft and yummy!!! I took pink floss and tied the 'curtains' back and added a fringe at the bottom of each. The curtain rod is created with a twist of wire pulled from a wire ribbon then decorated by twirling the pink floss around and across it. The bath is all sparkly and beautiful thanks to waterfall stickles that my dear friend Jenn R. send me a few years back. My very first bottle of stickles. :D

I created this card for Tracy at Eat Sleep Stamps 100th challenge. I love that gal I tell ya! :) She is so sweet and talented.

The newest challenge over at Freshly Brewed Challenges is up and it is (you guessed it) Paper Piecing!!! I also created this card for Trays sketch. This card was created using one of my coffee mug images called Striped Cup and American Craft paper.

Hope you all have a very blessed night
