For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

Christmas Gifts

I know most everyone is busy with last minute shopping and gift getting / searching.
These projects I am sharing today go perfectly with that theme!!! Also, these projects go with the theme of my Fresh Brewed Friday challenge at Paper Craft Planet and the new group at the Latte Lounge which is: For My Sweet (anything sweet treat, gift or love themed)

The first card is created using Emma Holds and Emma Accessories.
She is colored with prismacolor markers and covered in red velvet fun flock. The papers and bling and ribbon are all RAKs left over from last year.

This next little project is a box turned into an ornament gift holder.
I really had fun creating this. It is not WOW that's WONDERFUL by any means, but for me it is!:) lol I am not known for my 3D projects that's for sure!!! But i do love to make them when I am inspired to do so. This one is holding a cheap little ornament because when I took the pic the handpainted ornament was not ready yet.
I do hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

  4. These are wonderful!!! That flocking looks so amazing on your card! I love the ornament box, too. I know what you mean about wanting to make something special...except my projects don't usually get finished! LOL

Good thing all of my shopping & Christmas madness has been done for a while, so I would have more time to spend with the yet unborn Caleb! I think my daughter's ready to go for another horse ride if she doesn't go into labor soon! Have a wonderful Christmas!
