Good Morning!!! I am so pleased to have had the chance to participate this month in the DIVAS blog hop! If you are just getting here... then good! :D Because I am the first hop stop!! WOOHOOO!!!!
Us DIVAS try to get together once a month and host a fun hop sharing things we have in our stash that are at least 6 months old....
This month I decided to use a REALLY REALLY old stamp. This rose stamp is at least 4 years old. I do not even remember purchasing it :DI themed this card after the current challenge at The Altered Alice: Painting the roses red. I did literally just that. I had so much fun making this card! I first painted the tops of the roses with red acrylic paint, then I just flung / flicked more on there. I sprinkled some extra fine Martha Stewart glitter on it and let it dry. The ribbons are all scrap and the designer papers are from the Crate Paper Restoration Collection.
Thank you for sharing part of your day with me today!
This hop is filled with amazing talent and inspiration.
Your next hop stop is the beautiful and creative Cindy at Stamp with Me Cindy G.
Wishing you all a wonderfully blessed and super lovely day!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing along with The Altered Alice; it's GREAT to see you back! What a fantastic take on the challenge! Love the way you spattered the paint, and I would not have thought of dropping glitter into the wet acrylics so that is a great learning! The background paper is perfect too - lovely!
