Happy Hi!

Good Morning!
I am here to day to share a fun card with you. I have not been able to create much with the kids and hubby having the flu last week. It was so nice to sit down and make this one! I have to admit that my mojo was a bit slow brewing this time though. I struggled with this card! Whew! did I ever! but I am happy with the way it came together. The new challenge at Freshly Brewed Challenges is to create something using a plant / outdoor scenery theme. We have a few chances for you to win PRIZES so be sure to stop by and check out all we have going on!

I used the FBD rubber stamp Candy Corn Girl  and hid the candy corn in the bowl behind a lovely mix of green flowersoft. I tried to make it look like a potted plant of sorts. Her spider in her hair was easy to hide with a white doodle pen.The sketch is by Eat Sleep Stamp. I actually was inspired by it first, then the circles I was inspired to use the challenge at City Crafters Challenge blog .... in for which I am too late to enter. their challenge was to use the positive and negative of your diecut / punches. I used the circles for this one. The circle inside the circle is from the double sided paper. I cut out another smaller circle to fit inside of the coral color and topped it with a clear button embellished with some Mocha Latte Brown Twine .  Now I am not too late to enter it into their new challenge. We are supposed to theme our creations on something that is in our heart. As a child I LOVED to watch my mom and Granny in the garden. I remember sitting on the porch shelling peas, shucking corn, complaining and laughing about it. I remember how GOOD the food tasted and now am trying my best to learn how to grow my own garden as my mom continues to share with me and show me. She is having to dig out her patience she had with me as a child. I am stubborn and just don't get it, lol. I am so glad she is so close by that she can help me out and guide me along.

She was colored with prismacolor markers. Her boots are covered in glossy accents. The sentiment is a new rubber stamp at Fresh Brewed Designs. It was just released this past February with a few others AND 2 new rubber stamps: Crafty Girl and Work it Work out Girl. Speaking of NEW stamps, we will be having a NEW RELEASE and blog hop this weekend!!! Be sure to stop in and hop with us!
