Who are we kidding?
I ALWAYS have coffee!
~hehehehehe~
Yesterday was a busy busy day.
I was able to have a half day of school with the kids, clean out the bathrooms, fridge,
both freezers, cabinets, wash about 5 loads of clothes AND put them away, sweep,
vacuum, and mop! AND cook a big dinner... AND be a gracious host to a not so
well mannered and gracious little girl from the neighborhood, lol!
I really wanted to stay in bed this morning (or go back to bed after my hubby left for work at 5:30)
but also wanted to get up and create
and share the card I was able to make yesterday with you....
so crafting won! Sleep can be made back up tonight.
Early yesterday morning I got out my
Fresh Brewed Designs Rubber Stamp Set
and got to work.
I had stamped this latte loving lady on a papertrey inc coaster just to see how
it would color. I pressed a little too hard when stamping her, so the ink lines
are thicker in some areas than they normally would be... but I still
sort of liked it... and I didn't want to waste another, so I colored her up...
ink blotchy and all. Hey, we can't all be perfect all of the time, right?
Her dress, shoes, and latte cup are coated
in COTTON CANDY STICKLES.
She was colored up using prismacolor and copic markers.
The inside is decorated using some scraps left over from the front
and has been spritzed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist: Viva Pink
I used the following papers for this project:
Papertrey inc Coaster, Kraft, and White cardstock
KI Memories Groovy Photo Mat Stack
scrap dark brown
extras: Twinery Twine: Flax
This card was created for the following challenges:
(both the sketch and photo inspiration)
All That Stickles: Cotton Candy Link Up Party

She turned out beautiful Heather. The extra thick lines in places just give it more depth. Never would have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. Loving those sparkles!
