I am so happy to be able to share these cards with you!
I LOVE everything about Christmas.
I sound like a broken record every year, but it's true!
It is the happiest time of the year.
Yesterday was the Simon Says Stamp release featuring Holiday and Winter stamps, die cuts and much more! They are also hosting a super fun blog hop filled with many GORGEOUS cards.
How do I know? I just completed the hop, that's how :) hehehhe!!!
Their collection is called "CREATE JOY".
I was so happy to be able to play with the diecut

Next up, I created a card using the die in a totally different way. I cut out
the ornaments in white cardstock and cut out the ornament tops using the same
foil from coffee can seal as before. I added touches of eucalyptus stickles to the
flower centers. .I had some Martha Stewart flocking sheets that I purchased a
few years ago. I wasn't too fond of using them for the purpose they were created.
It was too hard to rub and force the flocking off of the acrylic sheet. But
I think this was the perfect way to use it! I found some pretty glittery scrap paper
in my huge scrap box, cut out the image negative, placed the pink flocking sheet
behind it, and then glued the ornaments over the top. Voila. A soft and pretty Christmas
creation! I LOVE old fashioned looking Christmas ornaments. Sigh.
See how sparkly all of the gorgeous glitter is?!?
Did I mention I was ready for Christmas? :D
Be sure to check out all of the CREATE JOY releases and join the hop HERE
Have a very happy and blessed weekend

Heather
