For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:

Christmas Cards for the "Create Joy"release this Month at Simon Says Stamp!

I am so happy to be able to  share these cards with you!
I LOVE everything about Christmas.
I sound like a broken record every year, but it's true!
It is the happiest time of the year.

Yesterday was the Simon Says Stamp release featuring Holiday and Winter stamps, die cuts and much more! They are also hosting a super fun blog hop filled with many GORGEOUS cards.
How do I know? I just completed the hop, that's how :) hehehhe!!!
Their collection is called "CREATE JOY".
I was so happy to be able to play with the diecut

Materials:Fresh Brewed Designs digital stamp:

colored using prismacolor and copic markers

foil from coffee can seal
Kraft and white PTI cardstock
 martha stewart crystal fine glitter
Spellbinders shapeabilities Floral Doily Motifs
Simon Says Stamp LULU Ornament Die
pebbles home for Christmas paper pad

Next up, I created a card using the die in a totally different way. I cut out
the ornaments in white cardstock and cut out the ornament tops using the same
foil from coffee can seal as before. I added touches of eucalyptus stickles to the
flower centers. .I had some Martha Stewart flocking sheets that I purchased a
few years ago. I wasn't too fond of using them for the purpose they were created.
It was too hard to rub and force the flocking off of the acrylic sheet. But
I think this was the perfect way to use it! I found some pretty glittery scrap paper
in my huge scrap box, cut out the image negative, placed the pink flocking sheet
behind it, and then glued the ornaments over the top. Voila. A soft and pretty Christmas
creation! I LOVE old fashioned looking Christmas ornaments. Sigh.

See how sparkly all of the gorgeous glitter is?!?
Did  I mention I was ready for Christmas? :D

Be sure to check out all of the CREATE JOY releases and join the hop HERE

Have a very happy and blessed weekend

Fresh Brewed Designs Digi Deal #4

It's SATURDAY!
Next week at this time it will all be over.
The planning, gift hiding, wrapping, rushing ... all of it.
Just like that.
It makes me sad really.
The only thing that we can and should continue to carry on over is the
celebration of Jesus' birth. That is something we can be thankful for and celebrate
all throughout the year. And by doing that we can still spread good cheer and
be kind and compassionate to one another. The attitude of Christmas all year long!
Now that is something to think about.

I am back to day to share another FBD Deal with you!
WOO HOO!
Today is deal #4. That means tomorrow is the LAST DEAL

5 Days until Christmas

Can you believe Christmas is almost here?!?! I can't. Things have been busy so I have had less time to post. Daisy (my dog) had surgery and is home today. We are still waiting to see if this helped anything. The kids had a cookie party at ballet and now are on a 2 week break (whew! We needed that, lol!) And today we had breakfast with Santa (I brought the kids food with me:) They had a wonderful time. Here are some pics of the past week or so.

Have a great weekend.
