Personalized Christmas Card Set

I am back to share yet another Christmas card set I created for
the kids' dance teacher.
She is so spunky and fun and they really enjoy her classes.
My daughter is preparing a fun and sassy solo for this year's dance competition season...
and I can't wait to see it on stage! This teacher is the one who is choreographing it.
Sort of one of those dances that are just a touch sassy with some hip moves.
One of those "... wait ... is that my daughter doing those moves?" sort of dance...
but still respectful and tasteful at the same time.
IF that makes any sense at all :)

OK, enough about that.. and on to the cards.
My little miss wanted me to make a FAMILY card set for them as well
as a card for their daughter who LOOOOVES Elmo.

I will start with the Family Photo Card Set

Here is a close up of one of the cards.
I added red stickles to parts of the image to add a little extra sparkle.
I also kept these CAS and not embellished so they would be easier for
her to mail out.

And here is the card set I created using their little Elmo loving
baby girl as my inspiration.  I had fun drawing both of these images, but
this one just stole my heart. Probably because this little sweetie is just
so adorable and I knew seeing Elmo would make her smile...
*she probably kissed the cards too ;-)*

Thank you for stopping by and visiting with me again today.
It is cold and icky and rainy here.
sigh
And I pulled something in my shoulder so every time my kids
call me or the dog barks or anything else I turn my head and instantly regret it.
Fingers crossed it goes away by tomorrow.
I have too much to do... that I WANT to do... and this ain't workin' for me :)

Have a very blessed and happy day!

I live for the APPLAUSE!!!

Hello everyone.
I am here today with a somewhat personal post and a big ol'
WOOHOO shout out for my daughter.
My daughter is a part of a dance troupe who competed last weekend.
My little girl and one other had competed last year with a larger group,
but the other girls in her class were first timers.
They scored very high winning a platinum award.
They were all amazing, I was (am) so proud of them.
Of course my daughter knocked my socks off.
She amazes me every time I get to watch her dance.
Blown away.
(photo below. My daughter is the one in the middle doing a tilt)

I wanted to do something special for the girls in this troupe,
but nothing too cheesy since they are all tweens and everything
that an adult does is cheesy ;).
I decided to draw them in their costume and make them all a
personalized card. I do hope they like it and my daughter isn't
embarrassed by my giving them out. We shall see ;)

Here they are:

JR. TROUPE ~ APPLAUSE

I used an OLD stack of 12x12 papers for these.
MME Garden Vignettes gitter cardstock.
The other black and white cardstock base is from Papertrey Inc.
I colored the images using copic markers and added some black diamond stickles
to resemble the sequins on their outfits.

Thank you for stopping by today and listening to me brag on my little miss.

Please stop back by Monday for our NEW DIGI RELEASE BLOG HOP!
You won't regret it! ;)
