Hot Stuff!!!

Good Morning 

I am here today to share a fun little card with you. 

You know those moments when you are just  NOT feeling it. 

When you create a card that you hate and tell everyone on facebook that 

you would rather eat it than share it anywhere :) 

....

Well, that was me yesterday. Then I saw a COOL Photo

at {PIN}spirational challenges and my brain went DING!!!!

I had SO much fun creating this ... too much probably ;)

I guess I know that simple little ol me could never pull this style off, so I am living

it out through my creations :D heheheh....

The heart paper and ribbon were RAKs

Her dress was hand drawn. I was a little intimidated to try it for some reason. 

Then I threw caution into the wind and started. I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!

The cardstock base is PTI and the teal cardstock is by bazzil. 

The glitter is Martha Stewart crystal fine glitter. 

This image was colored using prismacolor, Sharpie  and copic markers.

What makes you hot?

We  have a fun challenge this week at Freshly Brewed Challenges. 

It is all about showing off your HOT side. 

(but please keep it on the nice side - there are plenty of HOT things we don't want to see} hehehe!

For my second HOT card of the week I chose  to create with 

the lovely Work it Work Out Girl Rubber Stamp

I have realized one thing this morning, do not write your posts at midnight or BEFORE Coffee or you will have a total mess! Facebook posts and the post about this card on the challenge blog are proof of that :) hehehe! 

Anyway - I kept this card pretty CAS. I do not have any pop dots, but the poofy trim adds some dimension so I was happy with that. 

The papers are by ki memories in groovy. The sentiment was printed with word document and the pretty girly was colored using prismacolor markers.  And that is about it!

It is day #2 of our Fresh Brewed Designs RUBBER STAMP Release Blog Hop!

Today I have another card featuring the new 

HOT CUPPA JOE

He is so fun to mix with other stamps, as I have been showing the past few days. Today I have paired him with the FBD Come and Knock on my Door rubber stamp.

 The door is cut with a craft knife and propped open with foam mounting squares. I added some fun flower soft in meadow to the greenery around and on the door. The fun little coffee ticket tag is only $0.01 with any purchase for this weekend only... Just add it to your cart!

Hot Stuff

We are slap dab in the middle of summer. Are you loving it? I have yet to get to enjoy much of mine yet, but I will,  by George,  before August hits spend a few days on and enjoy the beauty of the beach. I will I tell ya! :)) I can not believe it is almost July! School will be starting soon and we will be busy running to dance and doing homework and stressing out about everything again :/ sigh. I really could use an extended summer. How about we go an extra month? Sounds good to me!!! .

This is a card I created using the FBD rubber stamp Beach Bums
Isn't she just so sassy and fun!?! 

I used the sketch at Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 161 for this card.

I really wanted to keep it fun and summery. I can't think of anything that says summer more than 

a patriotic red white and blue card (with a chick in a bikini of course - LOL!)

Can I Have Your Number?

HEHEHE!!!

We are cooking up some RED HOT creations at Freshly Brewed Challenges this week. Hop on over and check it out / play along!

ok, back to my hehehehe~ This card is one I had fun creating. It is simple but not simple at the same time. I had some designer paper that had die cuts out of some of the flowers, so I thought it would look really pretty with the red peeking through. This phone just kept saying pick me pick me... so I did... and then I was online looking up lame pick up lines praying I did not get a virus at some of the sites, hahah!

All in all... I still went back to the one thing I thought of to start with... "Can I Have Your Number?"

and the inside says "Can I have it?"... repeatedly. I took the card and showed my husband who immediately burst out laughing. I only know this quote because of him... he only knows it because of people he works with that showed it to him.... I have not seen or heard this quote in years... but, still, it popped in my head when I was creating this card. IF you now what this is from... at least say that you do so I am not the only crazy one out there :D HAHAHAHAHA!

I fussy cut the image and attached it to a clear acrylic piece I cut

 with a scalloped oval spellbidners diecut.

One Hot Valentine!

I know this image is not one you would typically use for a Valentine, but when I think of the word HOT she is one of the stamps I think of :D.  Her boots, tights and  her funky shirt just equal Hot and Sassy - don't you think? The inside says Valentine - I think you're HOT!!! {sortof punny with the hairdryer too :D HEHEHE!!!}

The ribbon, hand cut felt hearts and the brad are all  from my scrap pile / box. The image was colored using Prismacolor markers and pink stickles. The designer paper is Letterbox Truly Yours by American Crafts.
