For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

Card Sketch Challenge

Heather posted another card sketch this week. Every Tuesday! so mark your calendars!:) They are always super fun so please go check it out!
My card was nothing like I had planned. I had the papers chosen, embellies ready .. pastel pinks and greens (and I still may try it so I will not give too much away:) )) HOWEVER .. in sketching out the sketch for myself to go by .. I had a tic tac toe moment and it stuck. It is a fun card and I enjoyed making it. I have not heat embossed in a long time, so it gave me an excuse to drag out the goods. I cut out he letters with my Cricut (Plantin Schoolbook), then I embossed them 3 times each with black. Then I wanted to make the 'winner' stand out, SO I embossed the o's a 4th time with a glittery powder. It is so fun to watch it melt into something so pretty:)! I hope you all like my card! OH, I also drew out the notebook paper. My hubby thought it was reg ol notebook paper so I guess I had better specify that it is not. Thank you for the challenge Heather. Your example card is so pretty it is hard to make something just as lovely. Hope you like my card. I will link the 2nd one later if I have time.

this card is also for the My time To Craft Challenge. It is my first entry there. it is a fun and inspirational blog~ Go check it too!!!
